Marketing & Content Internship

As Marketing & Content Intern, you’ll support our marketing team at our head office in Barcelona.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content & Social Media strategy:
  • Help define our content strategy for our blog, newsletters and social media.
  • Publish and track content calendar (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Help create new blog posts and newsletters
  • Create and deliver engaging visual content for use in social media, emailing, and our website
• SEO:
  • Contribute to our SEO strategy
  • Create optimized blog posts
  • Manage website translation and content optimization.
  • Create and optimize web pages for our long tail strategy.
  • Optimize meta titles, descriptions, internal linking and tags.
• Website and internal content:
  • Curate images to enhance our storytelling.
  • Assist in the website launch of new destinations
  • Manage website translation and content optimization.
  • Helped implement our new brand identity and logo on our website and brochures.
  • Update our website and brochures with recurring changes (phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc...)

Depending on your bandwidth, skills and interest, you may be involved with other responsibilities.

KEY INFORMATION

• Internship start: end of May/beginning of June
• Paid full-time internship (600€/month)
• You’ll get 10 days of paid vacation during your internship for a 6-month period
• We have a flexible home office policy: with us, you'll work at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays - the rest of the time, it's up to you

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Jack or Jill of All Trades who will thrive in a dynamically changing environment.

• You are available for a period of 6 months or more
• You are currently enrolled in marketing and/or business administration/management; we are offering a becario, i.e. an agreement between the university, yourself and Emerald Stay
• You speak (and write) English fluently; fluency in Spanish OR French proficiency is also required
• You have a strong attention to detail and are able to prioritize tasks
• You have at least 6 months of experience in a working environment, ideally in English
• You are eligible to work in the EU and willing to relocate to Barcelona
• Understanding of graphic design principles and/or photography experience is a plus
